Japanese Sesame Cucumber Salad

Cucumbers is a staple in our family. I am always on the look for making some quick appetizer with cucumbers. This particular one makes a great side dish!

I recommend to place it the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving so it’s chilled! It is great for the summer and it pairs very well with beer!

INGREDIENTS
Cucumbers2
Salt¼ Teaspoon
[SAUCE] Soy Sauce2 Teaspoons
[SAUCE] Roasted Sesame Oil2 Teaspoons
[SAUCE] Sugar1 Teaspoon
[SAUCE] Crushed White Sesame Seeds2 Teaspoons
[SAUCE] Chicken Bouillon Powder1 Teaspoon

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cut cucumbers into slices and sprinkle the salt. Toss well and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Pour out the liquid release from the cucumbers.
  3. Then without rinsing, pour the [SAUCE] ingredients and mix well with the cucumbers.
  4. DŌZO!
