Korean Style Poke Bowl

Poke bowls are great as it offers varieties to my family as some have different preferences in the amount of carbs (rice) or veggies intake. I used to have poke bowls marinated in soy sauce or mayonnaise, but thanks to one of my friends’ recommendation, I started having poke bowls in Korean style! It is a great alternative way to enjoy poke!

ingredients (2 servings)
Avocado1
Salmon3.5oz / 100g
Tuna3.5oz / 100g 
[SAUCE] Soy Sauce2 Tablespoons
[SAUCE] Roasted Sesame Oil2 Teaspoons
[SAUCE] Lemon Juice1 Teaspoon
[SAUCE] Gochujang1½ Tablespoons
[SAUCE] Sugar2 Teaspoons
[SAUCE] Minced Garlic1 Teaspoon
[SAUCE] White Sesame Seeds2 Teaspoons

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cut the fish and avocado into bite-size pieces.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the [SAUCE] ingredients.
  3. Right before serving, place fish and avocado on top of steamed rice and/or fresh vegetables like lettuce, then pour sauce on top of it.
  4. DŌZO!
